SHIPPING NOTICE: Most products are estimated to ship in 1-5 weeks from the date of payment clearing (Eagles/Buffalos/Maples may be longer). We appreciate your understanding that these are best “estimates” and that unforeseen delays can happen.
If you paid by paypal or debit card, you should have received a confirmation email that we received your payment. You should be all set!
If you paid by ACH or eCheck, it can take up to 10 days for everything to clear. You will typically see funds pulled out of your account a few days before it clears and we receive it. Once it’s fully cleared, we will send a email notification.
If you are paying by bank wire, please remember to include the name on the order and the order number on your bank wire. Bank wires should clear within 1-2 days, then you’ll receive a confirmation email from us that your payment has been cleared.
If you have not received any confirmation of payment beyond those timeframes, we have not processed your order. Please reach out and we’ll work with you on payment issues. You can also check our account orders to see what it’s current status is.
Once your payment has cleared, your order is minted fresh and shipped. Actual shipping times can vary depending on the season, manufacturing capacity, and current demand. As a manufacturer and a mint, we are constantly producing and shipping finished gold and silver products to customers. Our current estimates can be found throughout our website in a purple banner on our cart and checkout pages.

Due to the volatile nature of the market, prices are locked in at time of purchase and there are no returns, exchanges or refunds. You (the customer) become the owner of the metal purchased at the price agreed to at the time the order is placed. In the event an item is damaged in transit or the incorrect item is received, please contact Scottsdale Mint within 48 hours of receipt of product for a resolution and we will work quickly to resolve the situation through an exchange.
Scottsdale Mint reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of $50 or 20% of the total order price (whichever is greater) on all refunded orders.
All bullion dealers have similar terms (Locked at time of order & Cancel Fees). It’s very similar to buying a stock from a broker.
