I wasn’t sure of this coin until I had it in my hand. The Light of Christ coin is truly beautiful and is a must for anyones collection. It is worthy of being a proof even though Samoa labels it as “proof like”. Anyone who is a believer would love to have this coin. It would actually be awesome to use in a necklace. Everyone in church would be in awe, just my opinion though.

The Light of Christ coins were my second purchase with Scottsdale mint. I am not a Christian but Heathen, but I have family members who are Christian and I purchased these as gifts for them. They are very well crafted, quality works of art that clearly demonstrate Scottsdale Mint’s dedication to the craft of minting. Even as a non-Christian, I would be proud to have these coins in my own collection. The same can be said for the 1oz Archangel Michael Silver bars that I purchased (also as gifts for Christian family members) last year.
So far, I am very pleased with Scottsdale Mint’s quality, selections, and value for the money.

I love receiving these Special Edition coins from Scottsdale Mint. The fact that they are unique works of art celebrating my religion & the fact that donations are made with my purchase, are icing on the cake. What makes me feel like I purchased something special is the way it shows up. The cardboard backing, the un-even cuts, the bubble wrap, the meticulous packaging. I truly do feel like these were part of something much bigger and mine was hand chosen for me, cut out of the larger group just for me, hand wrapped and sent… to me!

This is an absolutely beautiful coin, even my kid a (teenager) thought it was cool. I own many other silver coins and bars but this was actually my first ever purchase from Scottsdale Mint and it did not at all disappoint. After seeing how great this coin looked in person the quality and details were absolutely stunning! I’m a very small-time silver purchaser, Why? I don’t have much disposable income to allocate toward purchasing silver. Hence, the quality of my two coin purchases, conducted a few times per year, is extremely important. Scottsdale Mint has never sent me anything less than flawless silver. In addition, while most online precious metal dealers charge $8.00 – $10.00 for orders under $200.00, Scottsdale charges $6.50.
