Random Year 90% U.S. Silver Washington Quarters – $50 Face Value Bag
Build your silver holdings with a $50 face value bag of Random Year 90% U.S. Silver Washington Quarters. These genuine United States Mint quarters combine recognizable American coinage with the intrinsic value of 90% silver.
Each bag contains 200 Washington quarters with a combined face value of $50. Based on the standard circulated 90% silver calculation of approximately 0.715 troy ounces per $1 face value, the bag contains approximately 35.75 troy ounces of silver.
Dates, mint marks, and conditions will vary, giving each bag its own assortment of historic U.S. silver coinage.
The Washington Quarter
First introduced in 1932 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of George Washington’s birth, the Washington quarter features a portrait of the first U.S. president designed by sculptor John Flanagan.
The classic reverse depicts an American eagle with its wings spread above a bundle of arrows, accompanied by olive branches. This familiar design became a fixture of American circulating coinage for decades.
Washington quarters intended for circulation were struck in 90% silver through 1964. Beginning in 1965, the U.S. Mint transitioned circulating quarters to a copper-nickel clad composition, making pre-1965 Washington quarters a popular form of U.S. constitutional silver today.
90% U.S. Constitutional Silver
Each quarter in this bag was struck from an alloy of 90% silver and 10% copper. Their quarter-dollar denomination also provides fractional silver in a familiar form that was originally produced for everyday circulation.
These are circulated coins, so individual quarters may exhibit wear, toning, marks, softened design details, or other characteristics associated with age and circulation. Specific years, mint marks, and individual coin conditions are selected at random and cannot be guaranteed.
